CWD - Comfortable Murmurs 24/10/2010
CWD - Comfortable Murmurs 24/10/2010 - 52min26secs
After watching Jamie Woon's "Night Air (Ramadanman Refix)" about 6 times in a dark room, it was decided that I needed a mix that would accompany me on my journey home on the weekend(east to west) after djing.
Taking into account the state of mind I would usually be in, this mix would fit perfect and any night finishing on "Night Air" is a good one.
Please note, this is far from the music I normally play out/would play out and is mearly for my own listening pleasure.
Make sure you Bun one before listening. Trust.

Young Jeezy - The Last Laugh Mixtape (Mixed by CWD)
Young Jeezy - The Last Laugh Mixtape (Mixed by CWD)
09/10/2010 - 32min47sec - 75MB
Ever since Jeezy's new Street CD came out I've been meaning to make this mix for ease of listening on my endless tube journeys.
Spent about an hour yesterday on prepping the mix and smashed it in one take. The first track is a lil' scratch heavy, it was too much fun cuttin up Jeezy's "Yeaaaah".
If you have heard my previous mixes you know that I don't usually play out whole tracks, this mix is the exception. There were a couple of tracks I couldn't mess with as you need to listen to them from start to finish (Amen, Handle My Bizness & Rap Game).
Enjoy.

Conart
My favourite brand from the early to mid 90's.
The only place to cop Conart in Australia at the time, was from Catch Wreck in Perth.
I'm liking a small percentage of what they are bringing out now.
They need to stop with the all over front print and do it how they did back then: small logo on front and artwork on back.
I rocked my Katch1 tee's with pride.
This was my favourite:
The best part of how they made the tee's, the peice was done on a real wall(usually in Conart Studios), a photo taken and a screenprint made. Shit was real.
Fingers crossed they bring out the chronic tee again, I wore that shit to death.
This was a Conart Ad on the back of a very thin Graf mag I cannot remember:
Looking forward to checking out the new store on Fairfax at the end of August.

Grit Grammar ft. Genisis Elijah - Hard Times
Grit Grammar is a name that has been bubbling for the last few years ever since he dropped his debut street album ‘Reflections In The Dark’ in 2008. This release was well received by both DJ’s and the media, gaining positive reviews and feedback. Now just over a year later, Grit Grammar is ready to get the ball rolling with the release of his debut album ‘Life Music’. The first track to be released from this album is the amazing Baron Samedi produced banger ‘Hard Times’ which features Genesis Elijah which has already been causing a stir on the underground and has already been championed by Charlie Sloth on BBC 1Xtra. The single also comes with a music video which will be available in the next few weeks, so be on the look out for that. The album ‘Life Music’ which drops later in the year on his own BTS Recordings is entirely produced by the talented Baron Samedi and features Kyza, Verb-t, Genesis Elijah, Iron Braydz and more. This is already being tipped as one of the biggest UK releases of 2010 and with this single you can see why…
